Fabric:

We used this hand stitched Kantha Quilt from Jaipur India to create this one of a kind tote.  The quilted fabric is a traditional handstitched design that is made by women in Jaipur, India.  The block print design is a beautiful multi colored paisley type motif that is so amazing.  We combined the Kantha Quilt fabric with solid indigo cloth from Burkina Faso, West Africa.  We utilized the original fringe detail from the cloth to create this Boho detail to the front of the tote.

The bag is fully lined with heavy natural duck canvas and has an interior pocket with a zipper closure made with indigo cloth.  The straps are a vegetable tanned 8oz. leather and secured on with solid copper rivets.
