The Viper Tactical VX is a combat system designed with versatility and customisation in mind. And customise you can, with this more classically shaped, lower chest rig attachment aptly/unfortunately named the Scrote Pouch. Which is only slightly worse than ''fanny pack'' (we call those ''bum bags'' in NZ). But let's not get caught up on the low hanging fruit. This zippered hanging pouch can be attached to the VX Carrier or similar plate carriers which have the appropriate hook & loop surface (see the pouch attached to the olive Viper VX plate carrier, sold separately).
On the pouch are loop surfaces for patches/chemlight holders (or even smaller pouches) and to the back are woven belt and attachment loops. The surprisingly roomy interior of the pouch has three elasticated loops for keeping things tidy and loop surface to the front face which can hold hook & loop surfaced items (even more pouches?) secure. Handy for loads of items such as multitools, EDC, notepads, batteries, snacks, nice rocks, boo-boo kits; customise your rig with the scrote pouch for a massive storage boost.
